Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Professional Land Surveyor based in Childress TX. The role requires performing various surveying tasks including topographic and building surveys land surveying and operating survey equipment such as total stations. Responsibilities include planning and executing surveys analyzing data and ensuring all work complies with industry standards and regulations. This is a new service that the company is expanding into and the successful candidate will be capable of working independently fostering team development and developing the business. Collaborating with engineering teams and providing accurate and precise survey data are key aspects of this position.
Qualifications
- Experience in Topographic Surveys and Land Surveying
- Proficiency in using Total Station equipment
- Strong skills in general Surveying techniques
- Proven ability to adhere to local state and federal regulations and standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently
- Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) certification is required
- Familiarity with CAD software or GIS tools
- Experience with drones and associated technology is a plus
