Job Summary

Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Field Service & Sales Engineer to support the installation maintenance troubleshooting and optimization of laboratory water purification systems at customer sites. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with customer relationship management and business development to deliver excellent service support while driving account growth.

Key Responsibilities

Install calibrate validate maintain and repair laboratory water purification systems in accordance with SOPs and regulatory standards.
Diagnose technical issues perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain accurate service records maintenance documentation and spare parts inventory.
Perform system commissioning and ensure systems meet operational and performance specifications.
Provide customer training on system operation maintenance procedures troubleshooting and best practices.
Ensure compliance with safety standards company policies and proper vehicle/tool maintenance.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities for consumables filters monitoring devices software and service contracts.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate closely with Sales Applications and Customer Support teams to deliver tailored technical solutions and proposals.
Support product demonstrations technical presentations and customer enquiries including RFP responses.
Gather customer feedback and market insights to support continuous improvement of products and services.
Ensure compliance with GMP/GLP ISO standards EHS regulations and company policies.
Prepare service reports incident reports and related technical documentation accurately and promptly.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer support.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Electrical Mechanical Chemical Engineering or related technical field.
Experience in laboratory water purification systems such as Milli-Q RO/EDI DI UV sterilization systems sensors and conductivity/resistivity meters.
Strong troubleshooting analytical and hands-on technical skills.
Good communication presentation and customer service skills.
Able to work independently and manage field service assignments effectively.
Knowledge of GMP/GLP ISO 17025 or related quality systems is an added advantage.
- Possess a valid driving license and willing to travel when required.
- Proficient in English and Malay; Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
