Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Financial Technology QA team. The candidate will be responsible for validating enterprise applications ensuring high-quality product releases and collaborating with cross-functional teams across business and technology functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Developers Business Analysts Project Managers and Stakeholders to understand business requirements

• Prepare detailed Test Plans Test Cases and Test Scripts

• Perform Functional Integration Database and Regression Testing

• Conduct end-to-end validation across multiple environments

• Track and manage defects using tools like JIRA ALM or ADO

• Support UAT activities and coordinate with business users

• Analyze upstream/downstream impacts and identify potential risks

• Validate database structures stored procedures functions triggers and views

• Work closely with Onshore teams and participate in Agile/Waterfall delivery models

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and Testing concepts

• Expertise in Database Management Systems

• Hands-on experience with SQL/PLSQL

• Experience with Reporting Tools such as Tableau or Power BI

• Strong Functional and Integration Testing experience

• Experience writing and executing end-to-end Test Cases

• Knowledge of SDLC & STLC processes

• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA ALM ADO)

• Excellent analytical communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

• Financial Domain experience

• API Testing using Postman or Swagger

• Automation Testing exposure (Selenium/UFT/TestComplete)

• Basic Python knowledge

Educational Qualification

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics Economics or related field
