SAP Data Migration Delivery Lead

Position Description:

The SAP Data Migration Delivery Lead plays a strategic and technical role in the transition of data to SAP S/4HANA. The role is accountable for designing executing and governing complex data migrations from legacy systems while ensuring the integrity quality and compliance of the organizations digital core data. This position requires leading cross-functional teams and working closely with both IT and business stakeholders to ensure go-live readiness.
Responsibilities
-Define and drive the overall data migration strategy including scope extraction transformation and loading activities.
-Plan and execute migration cycles including testing phases and mock cuts.
-Lead and coordinate functional consultants and technical development teams.
-Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical delivery.
-Establish and enforce data governance standards including data quality mapping rules and validation processes.
-Ensure migrated data is Fit for Purpose for business operations.
-Act as the primary point of contact between IT teams and business owners.
-Drive data issue resolution and secure required validations and business sign-offs.
-Identify risks and bottlenecks within the ETL processes.
-Define and implement mitigation plans to ensure go-live readiness.
Qualifications & Skills
-Mandatory bilingual proficiency: full professional fluency in both French and English.
-Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP environments.
-Participation in at least two full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA migrations in a leadership role.
-Strong expertise in SAP data migration tools (LSMW LTMC Migration Cockpit).
-Solid understanding of SAP functional modules (FI/CO MM SD PP) and their data interdependencies.
-Strong project management capabilities.
-Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
