What We Offer

Salary:

Unqualified Lecturer: 29294 per year pro rata

Qualified Lecturer: 31885 - 40814 per year pro rata (Depending on Skills Qualifications & Experience)

Contract Type: Permanent Part Time 22.5 hours per week 52 weeks per year

What Youll Do
Teach and assess learners across a range of English programmes including GCSE and Functional Skills
Deliver engaging inclusive lessons that build literacy comprehension and communication skills
Support learners with varying abilities including those who may lack confidence in English
Use creative and practical approaches to make English relevant to real-life contexts
Maintain high standards of safeguarding professionalism and learner wellbeing
Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement

What Youll Bring

A relevant English qualification (Level 3 or above)
Strong subject knowledge including literacy language and/or literature
The ability to explain concepts clearly and engage learners of all abilities
Experience working with learners or supporting others in education or training
Primary or secondary school teaching experience is advantageous
A commitment to inclusive teaching and learner success
A teaching qualification is welcomed but if you dont have one yet well support you to achieve it while you work
