What this job involves:
As an Occupancy Planner you will be responsible for tracking analyzing and updating space data. You will use this information to develop scenario and occupancy plans for our clients portfolio in a designated region. This role contributes to JLLs objective of creating rewarding opportunities and sustainable real estate solutions for our clients by ensuring efficient space management and planning.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Track and manage space utilization data and trends through periodic data audits and monthly reporting.
Support critical relationships with various business units particularly facility management to ensure coordination and collaboration.
Gather space and adjacency requirements from clients to update space layouts.
Assist with regular facility audits using sound decision-making skills.
Contribute to planning strategies and project delivery with guidance from senior team members.
Consolidate data and floor plans into compelling PowerPoint presentations for clients.
Engage effectively across various organizational levels through strong written and verbal communication.
Required Qualifications:
Work experience in occupancy or space planning interior office planning furniture planning move/project management or a related Facilities function.
Demonstrated knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables XLOOKUP complex formulas) and PowerPoint.
Strong capability in interpreting and analyzing floor plans.
Proven proficiency in utilizing space planning tools and methodologies.
An analytical approach to space data analysis with the ability to evaluate information and contribute meaningful insights.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy particularly with numbers and spatial concepts.
Sound judgment in making decisions within a defined scope and escalating when appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
Familiarity with industry-standard software including AutoCAD CAFM and BI systems.
A comprehensive understanding of occupancy utilization metrics contemporary office design principles and workplace trends.
A proactive and innovative mindset with an ability to contribute to practical solutions with minimal supervision.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders.
