Mechanical Systems Support

• Assist with installation inspection and basic maintenance of mechanical systems including fixtures mounts test rigs track hardware and support equipment
• Support mechanical assembly and disassembly of components related to vehicle and tire testing activities
• Perform basic troubleshooting of mechanical issues such as fastener failures alignment concerns wear and vibration
• Use hand tools and basic power tools to perform mechanical tasks safely and accurately

Testing & Engineering Support

• Assist engineers during setup and teardown of mechanical test equipment and test vehicles
• Support alignment torque checks fluid checks and basic adjustments required for testing activities
• Assist with routine inspections of test tracks mechanical fixtures and support equipment to identify defects or wear
• Support data collection activities by ensuring mechanical systems are properly installed and functioning

Preventive Maintenance & Safety

• Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks on mechanical equipment as assigned
• Follow all site safety rules lockout/tagout procedures and job safety analyses (JSA)
• Identify and report unsafe conditions damaged equipment or abnormal operation to supervisors

Qualifications :

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems fasteners torque principles and mechanical assemblies
• Familiarity with hand tools power tools and basic measuring devices (calipers torque wrenches tape measures)
• Ability to follow mechanical drawings work instructions and engineering guidance
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel Word or equivalent)

ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT

• Associate degree or technical certificate in Mechanical Technology Industrial Maintenance Automotive Technology or related field preferred
• Hands-on mechanical experience (internship vocational training or entry-level industrial experience acceptable)
