Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary
As a Housekeeping Supervisor you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the housekeeping department. Working closely with the Assistant Executive Housekeeper and Executive Housekeeper you will help maintain exceptional cleanliness standards and deliver consistently high-quality guest experiences across the hotel.
Your responsibilities include:
- Supervise and support the housekeeping team during daily operations.
- Conduct room inspections to ensure brand and cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Ensure guest requests and special requirements are actioned promptly.
- Reporting maintenance issues hazards or faulty equipment.
- Report maintenance issues and follow up on outstanding tasks.
- Supporting Accors environmental program.
- Assist in creating a positive and productive team environment.
- Ensure safe work practices and compliance with WHS procedures.
- Participating in required training briefings and Accor Academy modules.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel operations preferably in a supervisory role.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high presentation standards.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Good communication skills and fluency in English.
- A confident communicator with a positive and team-focused attitude.
- Flexible to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
- Well-presented with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
- Physically capable of performing manual tasks (lifting pushing pulling stairs).
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across weekdays weekends and public holidays.
- Have full working rights in Australia.
