Job Summary
Pronto Staffing is hiring a trainee to help check food safety and this role you will work with a team to make sure products meet all safety rules and standards. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to grow their skills in a professional production environment.
Responsibilities
Watch food safety and quality steps to make sure they are done right
Check product packaging and codes for accuracy
Perform safety tests and audits on raw materials
Make sure all workers follow clean and safe work habits
Write down results and complete simple reports
Help with training others on safety rules
Requirements
At least six months of related work experience or similar schooling
Ability to speak read and write in English
Basic math skills and experience using a computer (Microsoft Office)
Ability to learn safety systems and government food rules
Great attendance and a positive attitude
Work Environment
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds often and up to 50 pounds sometimes
Working in cold areas (under 40F) and freezer areas (under 0F)
Working around moving machines in a wet and humid environment
Background check and drug screen may be required
