Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Interim Director of Nursing (DON) for a short-term assignment in a Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing setting. The DON will oversee nursing operations support staff maintain compliance and ensure high-quality resident care.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily nursing department operations
- Ensure compliance with facility and regulatory standards
- Supervise nursing staff and coordinate resident care
- Support staffing scheduling and clinical operations
- Assist on the floor when needed
- Maintain quality care standards and documentation compliance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license required
- Previous DON experience required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment
