The Role

We are looking for a motivated Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to support our Quality team and assure product and process at our suppliers during new project developments and mass production.

The SQA Engineer builds strong working relationships with our suppliers to assure cost quality and delivery targets and achieve the maximum advantage for Stark Future and our customers. Stark Future is a fast moving dynamic environment where flexibility and adaptability are key attributes needed for success. The successful candidate will be a self-starter; motivated with experience in the quality assurance function and mechanical parts.

This role will report to our Quality Manager and will work closely with our Purchasing Supply Chain Production and Engineering teams providing Stark Future with optimal supply assurance price flexibility quality and delivery targets and performance.

What Youll Do

• Ensure product and process of a portfolio of local and international suppliers as part of the Quality Assurance Team.

• Lead APQP and PPAP quality activities at suppliers during new project development and mass production.

• Establish key activities and priorities based on supplier and part risk analysis.

• Follows project master schedule proactively to ensure all quality engineering activities are achieved in timing.

• Define main part characteristics and quality inspection controls and ensure their implementation at suppliers Control Plans.

• Hold product and process audits at supplier site.

• Ensure fulfilment requirements and sign Part Submission Warrant for all parts.

• Lead action plan at suppliers of non-conforming product found at any point of the supply chain.

• Work in collaboration with the Quality Inspection Team in the plant to supervise the sorting and rework activities of non-conforming product when required.

• Identify and promote quality level-up activities at our suppliers to improve their quality system.

• Supports sourcing process of new parts and suppliers evaluating their quality system.

• Define new procedures and standards challenging the normal practice even in other areas of the company on a continuous improvement philosophy.

• Builds a strong working relationship with our suppliers and strategic partners based on communication motivation transparency and fair treatment.

• Work closely and collaboratively with other departments at Stark Future as Engineering Purchasing Supply Chain Production Engineering and Production.

• Work with the organisation under the Lean Manufacturing Philosophy

• Always be on top of emails and calls never letting our partners wait on us more than a few hours

• Be a leader figure within the company we believe in leading by example

• Suggest and execute new strategies to improve Stark products

What you will bring to Stark

• Bachelors degree in engineering (mechanical industrial etc)

• Knowledge of mechanical parts and their manufacturing processes (i.e machining forging aluminium injection and gravity casting etc) and also plastic injection and electronic parts.

• Minimum 3-year proven experience in the Supplier Quality Assurance function or similar role (preferably in the automotive or motorbike sector)

• Demonstrated experience on Advanced Product Quality Planning (or similar) and PPAP procedures.

• Fluent in English is a must

• Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% as required.
