Core Responsibilities
Exemplary Instruction: Delivering high-challenge Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE Triple and Combined Science) with opportunities for A-Level instruction in your specialist discipline.
Practical Excellence: Designing and leading sophisticated laboratory investigationsfrom titration and organic synthesis to circuit analysisensuring students develop precise technical skills.
Conceptual Clarity: Masterfully explaining the how and why behind complex theories including atomic structure enthalpy changes and the intricacies of periodic trends.
Data-Driven Success: Utilising the academys sophisticated tracking systems to identify misconceptions early and provide precise interventions to ensure all students exceed their targets.
STEM Leadership: Coordinating school-wide initiatives such as the Science Olympiad or CREST Awards to foster a culture of intellectual curiosity.
The Successful Candidate We are looking for a subject authority who views Science as the vital link between understanding the world and changing it. Requirements include:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong honours degree in a Science discipline (Biology Chemistry or Physics).
Proven Track Record: Evidence of delivering exceptional learning outcomes at GCSE with a deep understanding of AQA or OCR assessment frameworks.
Analytical Rigour: The ability to demystify quantitative science and mathematical modelling for students of all abilities.
Reflective Practice: A professional committed to continuous growth eager to collaborate within a high-performing team of subject specialists.
