Registered Nurse Operating Room Travel

Title: Travel RN Operating Room (OR)

The OR RN will work within a Level I Trauma environment and should be comfortable circulating complex surgical cases in fast-paced operative settings. Candidates with experience in Da Vinci robotic surgery endovascular procedures and ophthalmology cases are highly preferred.

Travel experience is preferred and candidates must have strong recent multi-specialty OR experience.

• Circulate and provide perioperative nursing care during surgical procedures
• Prepare operating rooms instruments and surgical supplies
• Maintain sterile field and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
• Support orthopedic neuro vascular urology and general surgery cases
• Assist with trauma and emergency surgical procedures
• Monitor patients intraoperatively and coordinate with anesthesia and surgical teams
• Document surgical care accurately using Epic EMR
• Participate in on-call rotation as required
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention PPE and surgical safety protocols
• Assist with robotic-assisted surgeries when applicable
• Float within procedural or surgical service lines as needed

• Minimum 1.5 2 years recent OR RN experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• REQUIRED specialties: Orthopedic General Surgery Neuro Vascular and Urology
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Call required
• Preferred experience with Da Vinci robotics endovascular procedures and ophthalmology cases
• Strong circulating experience required in multi-specialty OR environment

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program

• Minimum 1.5 2 years recent Operating Room RN experience required
• Recent multi-specialty OR experience required
• Experience in Level I Trauma facilities required
• Experience circulating orthopedic neuro vascular urology and general surgery cases required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Robotic surgery experience preferred
