Job Description:
As an AI Software Engineer you will lead the development and integration of AI driven capabilities within enterprise systems focusing on modernizing core platforms and enabling intelligent workflows across the software development lifecycle. You will work at the intersection of advanced AI technologies and high volume transactional systems designing scalable solutions that improve efficiency automation and innovation in a dynamic large scale environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and deploy AI enabled applications using modern software engineering practices.
• Integrate Generative AI tools into development workflows for code generation testing and automation.
• Build and maintain scalable microservices based applications in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with architects developers and stakeholders to deliver high impact solutions.
• Implement and optimize AI/ML models and large language model integrations in production systems.
• Participate in modernization initiatives transitioning legacy systems to distributed architectures.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to ensure efficient deployment cycles.
• Document technical designs architecture and workflows for maintainability and scalability.
• Mentor team members and promote best practices in AI assisted development.

Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related technical field.
• 7 years of experience developing large scale applications using Java Spring and web services.
• 2 years of hands on experience implementing AI/ML solutions in production environments.
• Experience working with GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants.
• Strong experience with microservices architecture containers and cloud deployment.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS GCP or similar environments.
• Hands on experience working with databases including NoSQL and relational systems.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and modern development pipelines.
• Strong analytical problem solving and communication skills in collaborative environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Background in financial systems or high volume transactional environments.
• Experience with test driven development and automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
