Production Support Engineer
Job Summary
JOB SUMMARY: This role is part of the Support & Maintenance Management and is
responsible for managing the offshore Support & Maintenance team.
Essential Functions:
A Support Lead is responsible for managing a team of developers and support
analysts.
Transition of customers to support model post implementation and maintain the
service levels.
Hire attract and retain top talent creating a cohesive culture that fosters innovation
and a client service attitude.
Drive strategic priorities assume general management responsibilities and partner
with US teams to build the right reporting.
Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources objectives and operations
of data management area to meet business objectives.
Help identify better practices tools and relevant trends that can positively influence
the data operations across the business.
Lead cross functional efforts to resolve operational production issues on an add
needed basis as needed.
Manage resource allocation and time approval.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related experience
2 years people leading and management experience.
10 years experience in a product maintenance & support role
10 years experience working in Java and related technologies
10 years experience in transitioning a customer to support

Flexible to work in shifts (US) strong communication to deal with business
stakeholders team handling and mentoring
Experience in Insurance policy administrations Products like GIAS.
Preferred:
Proven experience in debugging support data analysis with excellent analytical and
problem-solving abilities
Experience using modern software engineering and product development tools
including Agile / SAFE Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery DevOps etc.
Experience in projects of US-based Life & Annuity Insurance products & Clients.
