Job Summary
A Training Manager TM) for the Agency Channel in the life insurance sector in India plays a critical role in driving sales productivity and skill development of insurance agents (advisors) and Agency Leaders (IMs) within a defined region. Based on job postings and industry standards here are the key aspects of the role: Key Responsibilities Agency Force Development: Train and mentor the agency force (advisors/agents) to ensure they are equipped with product knowledge sales skills and compliance knowledge. Driving Productivity: Focus on increasing the activation rate of agents (getting non-productive agents to sell) and ensuring high productivity. Recruitment Training: Train Agency Leaders (IMs) on how to recruit new agents effectively. Content Implementation: Develop and deliver training modules workshops and joint field training (JFT) to improve sales conversion rates. Quality & Persistency: Ensure that the sales made by the channel are high quality (low customer complaints) and policies are renewed (high persistency).
Eligibility & Skills Experience: Generally 2-5 years of experience in Life Insurance specifically in the Agency Channel.
