Position Overview

The client is seeking an experiencedSystems Administrator (Advanced)to support enterprise infrastructure cloud platforms and mission-critical systems.

This role involves administration troubleshooting and optimization of cloud and on-premise environments along with managing Microsoft platforms identity systems and multi-cloud architectures. The candidate will handle medium to high complexity systems and play a key role in infrastructure modernization and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support Client infrastructure servers and cloud environments

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2012-2022)
• Monitor systems forsecurity performance and availability
• Configure and manageAWS Azure and multi-cloud platforms
• Support IIS administration and web infrastructure
• ManageAzure DevOps projects repositories and CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot system application and network issues
• Implement performance tuning and system optimization
• Define and enforcenetwork policies firewalls and security controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams vendors and stakeholders
• Recommend infrastructure upgrades and improvements
• Support middleware API management and automation tools
• Provide technical guidance to developers and IT staff
• Maintain documentation and automate administrative tasks

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field
• OR equivalent professional experience

Experience

• 5-8 years inInformation Systems / Systems Engineering
• 3-5 years ininfrastructure network operations and system administration
• 2-3 years experience with:
  • Windows Server (2012 R)
  • IIS Administration
  • TCP/IP DNS NTFS permissions file sharing (Samba/CIFS)
  • AWS cloud services (required)
• Experience withMicrosoft Azure (preferred)
• Experience withGCP or other cloud platforms (nice to have)
• Experience supporting middleware (API management automation tools)

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise inAWS services and cloud architecture
• Proficiency inMicrosoft Azure services
• Experience withMicrosoft 365 and enterprise platforms
• Strong knowledge ofLinux (RedHat Ubuntu)
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP DNS firewalls)
• DevOps tools especiallyAzure DevOps
• Infrastructure monitoring and performance tuning
• Security best practices and compliance awareness
• Automation and scripting for system administration
