Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Sr.HRManager SuzhoulocatedinSuzhouJiangsu province.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business toestablisha standalone orthopedics companyoperatingas DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation isanticipatedto be completed within 18 to 24 months subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies as may be regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Job Overview

The Sr. HR Managerplays a key role in supporting business operations strategy execution and organizational effectiveness in the Suzhou site.

The rolewill actively support and coach business leaders and will also drive Talent Management Organizational Design and Change Management. They will address complex organizational challenges by providing strong HR leadership in support of business goals enterprise and HR strategies.

This role plays a keypartin translating regional and global strategy into local execution ensuring compliance efficiency and sustainable growth. The position offers the opportunity to lead teams in a dynamic highly regulated MedTech environment and to make a direct impact on business outcomes and patient care across China and the broaderAsiaPacificregion.The role is expected to have an on-site presence4-5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide senior leadership for Suzhourelated operations and initiatives ensuring alignment with regional and global DePuy Synthes strategies.

  • Drive operational excellence across safety quality delivery cost andpeopleperformance metrics.

  • Partner with crossfunctional teams including Manufacturing Supply Chain Quality Engineering Finance and HR to enable effective execution.

  • Lead and develop managers and teams fostering a culture of accountability engagement and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with local regional and global regulatory and quality requirements applicable to MedTech operations in China.

  • Identifyoperational risks and opportunities driving mitigation plans and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Monitor performance through data and analytics escalatingissuesand drivingtimelycorrective actions.

  • Represent Suzhou operations in regional forums and contribute insights to broader AsiaPacific decisionmaking.

Where required to be managed locally:

  • Document handling: Print stamp/seal mail/ship distribute and route documents for wet signatures.

  • Records management: Store/archive/retrieve HR documents; fulfill requests; coordinate offsite storage; scan and name for Veeva.

  • Compliance/admin: Upload/submitfilings; print and hand-deliver to agencies; support audits and onsite audit coordination.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors degreeinBusiness or Human Resourcesora relatedfield.

  • Masters degree or MBA preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Typically810 years ofHR experienceideally alsosupportingoperations manufacturing supply chain or site leadership roles.

  • Demonstrated experience leading managers and crossfunctional teams in complex environments.

  • Strong understanding of operational excellence performance management and continuous improvement principles.

  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead effectively in a matrixed organization.

  • Strong problemsolving decisionmaking and changemanagement skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a regulated industry such as MedTech Pharma or Healthcare.

  • Experience supporting Chinabased manufacturing or operations including familiarity with local regulatory and business environments.

  • Exposure to Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Experience working within regional or global operating models.

  • Strong problemsolving decisionmaking and changemanagement skills.

Other:

  • Language: Fluent English; Mandarin Chineseproficiencystrongly preferred.

  • Travel: Up to 10% primarily within China andAsiaPacific.
