Medical Dosimetrist
Position Purpose:
The Medical Dosimetrist is responsible for performing the technical aspects of Radiation Therapy Treatment Planning and communicating these aspects to the Radiation Oncologist and Radiation Therapist.
Maintains accurate treatment records.
Performs a variety of technical and non-technical tasks and direct patient care activities requiring independent judgement and initiative.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an approved Radiation Oncology program or graduate of a Medical Dosimetry program required.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required; and
- Valid State of Ohio Radiological License required.
- Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) required. Certified by MDCB (Medical Dosimetry Certification Boards).
- Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) required. Certified by MDCB (Medical Dosimetry Certification Boards).
- Experience: Minimum of (3) years dosimetry experience with eligibility for dosimetry boards required. Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) preferred.
- Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and State of Ohio Radiological License preferred.
