Overview
Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Medical Logistics Planner to support U.S. Marine Corps operational planning and medical logistics readiness efforts within the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility. The selected candidate will provide subject matter expertise in medical logistics (MEDLOG) sustainment planning operational readiness and Health Service Support (HSS) coordination in support of Marine Corps and joint operational objectives.
The Medical Logistics Planner will support planning activities operational assessments readiness reporting and coordination efforts across multiple stakeholders and functional areas. This position requires the ability to operate independently in a dynamic environment while supporting high-visibility operational planning initiatives and contingency response activities.
Responsibilities

- Analyze and assess operational medical logistics requirements in support of contingency planning exercises and operational readiness initiatives.
- Evaluate MEDLOG capabilities sustainment posture and Class VIII support requirements and provide recommendations to government leadership.
- Support operational planning efforts including working groups operational planning teams synchronization meetings and planning conferences.
- Review operational requirements and identify logistics gaps shortfalls and mitigation strategies related to medical sustainment and readiness.
- Monitor operational reporting communications and planning updates to identify emerging medical logistics issues and support requirements.
- Develop and maintain plans of action and milestones (POA&Ms) operational trackers briefing materials and readiness products.
- Prepare reports briefings assessments and decision-support materials for senior leadership and operational staff.
- Coordinate with subordinate units joint organizations and external stakeholders to support planning alignment and operational integration.
- Support development and review of Health Service Support planning documentation including operational annexes and supporting plans.
- Provide quality assurance reviews of staff packages planning products and operational documentation to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.
- Maintain awareness of current doctrine policies and medical logistics processes impacting operational planning and readiness.
- Support exercise planning activities and provide MEDLOG expertise during contingency and deliberate planning efforts.
- Track assigned actions and provide recurring status updates to leadership regarding ongoing operational support activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned in support of mission requirements.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in logistics supply chain management healthcare administration business management or related field.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience supporting military logistics sustainment operations or medical logistics planning.
- Experience supporting operational planning activities within a military or joint operational environment.
- Knowledge of medical logistics systems readiness reporting and sustainment planning processes.
- Experience preparing operational reports briefings and staff coordination products for senior leadership.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Teams Excel PowerPoint and Word.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Marine Corps or Indo-Pacific operational planning activities.
- Experience with Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) or other military logistics management systems.
- Knowledge of Health Service Support planning and operational medical sustainment concepts.
- Professional certifications related to logistics supply chain management or program management.
- Prior military experience in medical logistics supply sustainment or operational planning fields.
- Completion of military professional military education courses or joint planning coursework.
- Experience supporting joint coalition or multinational operations and exercises.
Physical Requirements:The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the jobwith or without a reasonable accommodation:
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands wrists and fingers.

- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.

The projected compensation range for this position is $100000.00 to $155000.00 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
