Role Overview:
The Senior Associate - Trauma Care serves as a crucial subject matter expert responsible for strengthening the post-crash response pillar of our life-saving work. This role focuses on driving the implementation and ensuring the quality of trauma care programs designed to enhance the post-crash response framework. We are seeking a medical or public health professional with a blend of clinical knowledge research skills and program management expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Implementation & Management
- Execute and manage end-to-end trauma care programs ensuring alignment with quality standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as community engagement and M&E to ensure smooth ground operations.
- Liaise with partner hospitals to strengthen emergency room systems processes and trauma response readiness.
2. Research & Knowledge Development
- Lead applied research initiatives regarding trauma care systems post-crash response and emergency medical protocols.
- Analyze crash investigation data to correlate injury patterns with response times and clinical outcomes to refine strategies.
- Design research tools including clinical audits facility assessments case reviews and stakeholder interviews.
- Translate findings into operational recommendations for system strengthening.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Maintain professional relationships with hospitals NGOs local authorities and police departments.
- Conduct needs assessments and identify gaps in local trauma care services to co-create improvement opportunities.
4. Monitoring Outreach & Reporting
- Track program outcomes and training initiatives to ensure objectives are met.
- Prepare detailed progress reports highlighting achievements challenges and recommendations.
- Assist in public awareness campaigns focused on bystander care and emergency response.
Required Qualifications & Experiences

Academic: Masters in Public Health (MPH) or a degree in Emergency Medical Technology Paramedic Sciences or a related field.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in public health or emergency care systems.

Skills: Deep clinical knowledge strong training skills and hands-on program implementation expertise.
