Do you thrive in collaborative multi-location environments where your expertise is required to architect and solution complex service delivery models for the benefit of our local clients PwC Ireland is looking for a Business Development Lead for our Managed Services team where your capabilities are needed to support our local business development activities leveraging our global delivery network and 3rd party ecosystem to architect winning managed services and associated delivery chains to meet and exceed client expectations and to continue to grow our managed services business in Ireland.

As aSenior ManagerBusinessDevelopment leadwith a strong focus onpre-sales activitiesyoullworkwith our local clientteamstoidentifyand assess clientopportunitiesand withour global delivery network and 3rdparty ecosystem to shape architect propose andwinmanagingservices work with our local Irish clients.

Your roleiskeyforcontinuityduring thebusinessdevelopmentcycle in acting as thehub between thelocal account teamand our network andecosystem.The delivery of technology enabled managed servicesharnessingthebestof our global network and 3rdparty ecosystem. You will be the locallead responsible forpre-sales activities andarchitecting the solutionleveragingthe besttechnologyenabled managedserviceassetsavailableacross our network andecosystem.Part of yourrole is also to workwith clientaccount teamshelping identify other opportunities to add value totheirclient.In addition you will be joining a fast-growing local team and will have a role in further developing and building the local team.

Responsibilitiesinclude:

  • Directlyidentifyingand pursuing Managed Services opportunities within your sector including designing managed service solutionsleveragingassetsacrossor global network and 3rdpartyecosystem

  • Using yourexpertiseand experience to support other sector account teams to drive their business development activitiesaround Managed Services

  • Working with service architects across the ecosystem to develop tailored services and proposals for local opportunities

  • Working with the local Managed Services leadership to further develop and grow the MS business across all sectors

  • Building the local PwC internal knowledge and understanding of Managed Services;

  • Developingcollateral andinsightsto supportmanaged servicepropositions;

  • Keeping up to date on latest trends in Managed Services(e.g. applicationofAI)and any developments within our network and ecosystem to enhance our managed service solutions and proposals

  • Coaching and mentoring of consultant colleagues looking to extend their client portfolios into Managed Services

  • Involvement in contracting with our clients and our delivery network and 3rd parties.

  • Developingour team withcoaching and mentorshipto further enhance and build our localmanaged servicescapabilities;

  • Working with the local Managed services leadership to further activate develop and grow the managed services market forIrishclients;

Experiences and skills

  • Track recordinidentifyingandwinningManaged Servicesopportunities and thensupportingengagement delivery

  • ExperienceinandunderstandingofManaged Servicesdeliverymodels andcontractual andcommercial constructs

  • Experience in working withinter-territorydeliveryecosystem indeveloping tailored solutions/ servicesand proposalsfor clients.

  • Experience inadvisory andimplementationprojectsand howthey both have a mutually re-enforcing relationship withthebuilding of aManaged Servicesbusiness

  • An interest in trends in the broaderManaged Servicesmarket and howe PwC can capitalise on those within the given sector

  • An experienced people leader with a background of inspiring and developing high-performing teams

  • Acollaborative and pro-active team memberwith demonstrable experience ofnurturing guiding and mentoringteams involvedinManaged Services

  • Effective communicationboth verbal and written

  • Strong negotiation and contracting skills with proven experience.

  • An experienced people leader with a background of inspiring and developing high performance teams across multiple locations and cultures;

  • A collaborative and pro-active team member with demonstrable experience of nurturing guiding and mentoring teams involved in managed services.

  • Experience driving sales and operational excellence and high-quality standards across managed services teams and processes;
