Early Intervention Specialist - TherapeuticHOURLY PAY: $20.20-22.84/hour plus mileage reimbursementPositions start as part-time hours (about 20-25 per week); potential to build up to full-time hours - depending on availability and caseload in the areaCoverage area includes:San BernardinoHighlandsRedlandsRialtoOntarioFontanaRancho CucamongaPomona*And surrounding areas- we match you with cases approximately within a 20-mile radius of where you liveRaising a child with a developmental disability is a journey that takes knowledge love patience and support. You will be part of a team that provides in-home early intervention specialized services for infants and toddlers where they can naturally learn and develop. Plan schedule and provide weekly early educational in-home services for a caseload of infant/toddlers with disabilities including developmental delays and programs for children diagnosed with autism spectrum and document all program assessments and updates accurately to meet implement and adapt activities for language cognitive fine and gross motor sensory self-help and social/emotional development for each individual child utilizing best effective adult-child interactions and provide written information on parenting child development and provide parents/guardians with written weekly activities and effective document and share the childs progress with the family and is a great position to start or advance in a therapeutic services career. We want to see our employees succeed!Qualifications:Education and Experience:Bachelors Degree in health/human services-related major required OR - If you do not have a Bachelors Degree: May substitute one year of full time college for each year of experience working/volunteering with children (For example if you have the equivalent of two years of full-time college classes PLUS 2 or more years of experience working directly with children we will consider this as meeting the requirement)*Note: if candidate has Bachelors degree then experience may not be requiredIMPORTANT NOTE: Please make sure to add any and all experience working AND volunteering directly with children to your application or resume.
