Lead Business Analyst Business Architect – Enterprise Transformation
Job Summary
Position Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Business Analyst / Business Architect with 12 years of experience to play a pivotal role in a large-scale business transformation initiative. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across discovery design and delivery ensuring that business vision goals and value realization are consistently aligned with scope process and outcomes.
This role requires a proven leader who has occupied a Lead BA role for 3 years has established enterprise-level processes and has successfully managed end-to-end transformation programs involving multiple stakeholders complex operating models and significant change.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Lead large scale business transformation initiatives end to end
Own and manage enterprise level scope aligned to vision strategy and goals
Define business architecture capabilities operating models and processes
Establish current state and future state business processes
Facilitate executive level discovery and design sessions
Ensure scope and design decisions drive measurable business value
Align stakeholders across business technology and delivery teams
Identify dependencies risks and enterprise wide impacts
Provide leadership and direction to Business Analysts and delivery teams
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
12 years of experience in Business Analysis Business Architecture or related disciplines
3 years in a Lead BA or Business Architect role managing enterprise-level scope and strategy
Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale complex transformation programs (enterprise or multi-business unit)
Proven track record of establishing enterprise processes and operating models
Strong experience facilitating executive discovery sessions and design workshops
Deep understanding of how to align vision goals scope and value realization
Expertise in stakeholder management across senior leadership business teams and technology partners
Skills and Competencies
Strategic thinking with strong business acumen
Advanced facilitation and communication skills
Expertise in business architecture frameworks process modeling and value stream mapping
Ability to balance strategic vision with pragmatic execution
Strong leadership influence and decision-making capabilities
Comfortable operating in highly complex and ambiguous environments
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70000.00$135000.00. This role is a future opportunity.
Use of the term architect in this job posting refers to the technical sense related to Information Technology (IT) and does not imply that the individual practices architecture or possesses the requisite license as prescribed by the applicable provincial or territorial architect regulator. We are seeking individuals with expertise in IT architect-related functions but licensure from an architect regulator is not a prerequisite for this position. Architecture is a regulated profession in Canada which is restricted in terms of use of titles and designation.
