Job Summary
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and review mechanical quantity take-offs BOQs and cost estimates.
- Assist in the preparation and evaluation of tender documents and subcontractor packages.
- Monitor and control project costs budgets and cash flow.
- Review and validate subcontractor and supplier invoices and claims.
- Manage and assess variations change orders and cost impacts.
- Participate in site inspections and progress tracking.
- Prepare monthly progress valuations and final accounts.
- Coordinate with project managers engineers procurement teams and clients.
Key Requirements :
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor.
- Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying Mechanical Engineering or a Diploma in Quantity Surveying.
- Proven experience working with contractor firms on infrastructure projects (e.g. utilities pumping stations MEP for roads etc.).
- Strong understanding of contract conditions cost control and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in QS software/tools and MS Office.
- Must be locally available in Qatar with a valid QID.
- Must be able to join immediately upon selection.
