Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift assignment supporting adult critical care and general care patient populations. The ideal candidate will have strong ICU respiratory care experience and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Assignment Details
- Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Night Shift 4x12-Hour
- Shift Hours: 5:30 PM 6:00 AM
- Schedule Options: 3x12s or 4x12s
- Travelers may not work more than 5 consecutive days
- Holiday rotation required
Unit Information
- Adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- General Care Units
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care to adult ICU and acute care patients
- Perform airway management and ventilator management
- Administer respiratory medications and oxygen therapy
- Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and analysis
- Deliver pulmonary toileting suctioning nebulizer treatments BiPAP and CPAP therapies
- Monitor and document patient responses to respiratory treatments
- Collaborate with physicians nursing staff and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate documentation within Cerner EMR when applicable
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience required
- Adult ICU experience required
- Education must be completed in-person through:
- A CoARC-accredited program
- Regionally accredited institution through CHEA
Certifications & Licensure
- Active Indiana Respiratory License required at time of submission
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
