Job Summary
LK Jordan is currently seeking an experienced Parts Counter Sales Representative for a reputable company in the Houston area. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in heavy equipment parts sales who is customer-focused organized and knowledgeable in equipment components and inventory.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist customers at the parts counter with heavy equipment parts inquiries and purchases
- Identify source and recommend correct replacement parts for heavy equipment and machinery
- Process parts orders quotes invoices and customer transactions accurately
- Maintain strong product knowledge of heavy equipment parts and components
- Support inventory control stocking and organization of parts department
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding pricing availability and order status
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service and follow-up
- Ensure parts counter and warehouse areas remain clean organized and efficient
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of parts counter sales experience required
- Must have prior experience with heavy equipment parts
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment components part numbers and equipment breakdowns
- Experience with inventory systems purchase orders and invoicing
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with parts lookup systems preferred
- Stable work history and reliable attendance required
