The Opportunity

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Electrical Design Engineer design to join our team. The Electrical Design Engineer will design and ensure compliance with customer requirements and regulatory requirements such as Mil-STD-810 or RTCA DO-160. The Electrical Design Engineer should be cross functional and capable of performing design and manufacturing definition along with conducting tests in support of project goals.

This position is 100% on-site.

The Electrical Design Engineer responsibilities include:

• Design by Schematic capture simulation analysis and layout of electronic devices such as:
  • DC to DC converters motor drivers sensors generator control units and power filters.
• Review of designs created by others
• Testing of electronic devices to commercial or military standards
• Collaboration and troubleshooting of design issues
• Documentation of design issues solutions test plans and reports

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 4 years of industry experience working with or consulting on electrical design
• U. S. citizenship is required
• Position requires the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
