The Role

GMP Advisors is seeking an Audit Manager to join our growing Audit practice in Tyler this role you will lead client engagements across a diverse portfolio that includes Oil & Gas Construction Government and other industries managing relationships supervising and developing engagement teams and delivering the high-quality work our clients have come to expect from GMP.

This is a high-visibility position within a firm that is actively growing its Audit practice. For the right candidate GMP offers meaningful career development and a clear path toward increasing responsibility over time.

The Audit Manager will:

• Lead and ensure the engagement team maintains a high degree of accuracy and timeliness across all audit engagements.
• Review the work of junior staff and prepare more complex sections of engagement files. Set the culture for the engagement team and mentor members in their career development. Listen actively and assist team members in developing goals that support both their growth and department objectives.
• Deliver quality client service in accordance with GMPs values to build and maintain client loyalty. Contribute to a positive client and team member experience on every engagement.
• Utilize CCH Axcess CCH Engagement DataSnipper and other cutting-edge tools & solutions to manage workflow documentation and audit evidence. Focus on solutions and creative problem solving to help make timely decisions and improve engagement efficiency.
