In this important role you will manage a team of activity professionals plan and conduct fun and exciting activities for our residents. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated with a genuine concern for our residents well-being and has a creative personality and positive attitude.

Position Type:Part-Time or Full-Time benefits eligible position working a varying schedule including some weekends

Wage Range:$21 - $26 /hour depending on experience

Bonus:$1500

Activities Director Responsibilities:

• Create and schedule Activities calendar for residents and administer these activities.
• Promote physical exercise social interaction emotional support and involvement.
• Prepare monthly newsletter for residents and family members.
• Oversee Activities Assistants.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

• One year of Activities experience.
• Is compassionate motivated and a self-starter.
• Desire to work with seniorsin an assisted living setting.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the job.
• Functional knowledge of computer hardware and software.
• Ability to respect confidentiality of resident information.
• Ability to manage diverse individuals and multiple priorities at once.
