Shift: MondayFriday 7:30 AM 4:00 PM Includes on-call rotation (evenings & weekends)

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to support minimally invasive image-guided procedures in a high-acuity clinical setting. The technologist will collaborate closely with physicians and advanced practice providers to ensure safe efficient and high-quality interventional care. Responsibilities include assisting with a wide range of procedures such as angiography biopsies vascular interventions tube placements thrombolysis and other image-guided therapies.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a sterile field and ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols
• Review patient records including orders labs medications allergies NPO status and implanted devices
• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedure patient care and education
• Operate and adjust imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic and procedural images
• Monitor patient vital signs throughout interventional procedures
• Prepare and manage procedural supplies medications and equipment
• Assist with contrast administration under physician supervision
• Observe and respond promptly to adverse patient reactions or emergencies
• Ensure radiation safety compliance using ALARA principles
• Document all procedures accurately and maintain imaging records in PACS
• Support emergency response activities including Basic Life Support as needed
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
• Hands-on experience with Neuro Interventional Radiology and GI embolization procedures required
• ARRT certification required: R.T.(R) or advanced credentials such as R.T.(VI) R.T.(CV) R.T.(CI) or RCIS
• Active state licensure (as applicable)
• Strong clinical skills in patient care sterile technique imaging equipment operation and procedural documentation
