Schedule: 4x10 Day Shift 6:30 AM 5:00 PM On-Call Required Weekends & Holidays as Needed
Start Date: June 8 2026

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Travel RN with strong Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab experience for a 13-week contract assignment within the Advanced Procedural Suite. The RN will support a variety of minimally invasive vascular and interventional procedures while providing high-quality patient care before during and after procedures.

Candidates must be comfortable with on-call responsibilities including off-shift and weekend coverage with a required 30-minute response time. Travelers may also float as needed and care for COVID-positive patients when required.

This is a tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility. Travelers should be informed prior to submission.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care in Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab procedural settings
  • Assist physicians during angioplasty carotid stenting and extremity angiography procedures
  • Monitor patients pre- intra- and post-procedure
  • Perform sheath removal and monitoring
  • Utilize vascular closure devices including Perclose and StarClose
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias as needed
  • Maintain radiation and laser safety standards
  • Assess sedation levels using the Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale (RASS)
  • Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
  • Participate in on-call rotation with 30-minute response requirement
  • Float to other procedural areas as needed
  • Follow infection prevention and PPE protocols including care for COVID patients
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years recent Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab RN experience required
  • Epic experience required
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • On-call coverage required for off-shifts weekends and holidays
  • 30-minute response time required while on call
  • Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
  • Manager interview required
  • Clinical prescreen required prior to manager review
Qualifications Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years recent RN experience in Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab required
  • Experience assisting with vascular and angiography procedures required
  • Experience with procedural sedation monitoring preferred
  • Experience in acute care/procedural hospital settings preferred
License:
  • Active RN License
  • BLS required
  • ACLS required
