Responsibilities

• Provides equal employment opportunity and affirmative action consultation and operational support to management HR business partners and client groups.
• Works with HR business partners and client groups to ensure compliance with federal state and UMMC equal employment opportunity laws regulations policies procedures and processes.
• Processes complaints and prepares material for use before administrative or judicial proceedings. Interfaces with employees supervisors and administrators regarding job-related problems and concerns; investigates and recommends courses of action for resolution of problems and concerns.
• Collaborates in the implementation of diversity and equal employment opportunity programs. Remains current on diversity and equal employment opportunity issues initiatives and legislative or regulatory requirements.
• Implements policies procedures and practices governing diversity and equal employment opportunity programs in accordance with UMMC objectives and federal and state legal requirements.
• Compiles and submits required affirmative action program and equal employment opportunity (AAP/EEO) statistical reports. Works with management business partners and client groups to develop and/or assesses the effectiveness of equal employment opportunity initiatives and programs.
