Sanitation Supervisor

Essential Job Duties Records SSOPs performed and ensures department is following sanitation schedule. Assists workers with SSOPs and provides guidance when needed. Maintains employee time and sanitation records. Orders chemicals and supplies as needed for department. Clean and sanitizes all production equipment in compliance with FDA HACCP and other applicable regulations and documents such. Supervises the activities of the sanitation staff including building custodian. Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting heating and ventilating keeping with our value of Customer Satisfaction this position is expected to provide high-quality customer service to our internal and external customers vendors and others alike. Adheres to company Policy and Procedures. Performs duties as workload necessitates. Maintains a positive and respectful attitude. Communicates regularly with manager/supervisor about department issues. Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize. Consistently reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of position. Meets department productivity standards. May perform other duties as of Responsibility This job will have periodic access to confidential data including company records customer quotes and product costs. Directly supervises non-supervisory and supervisory employees in the sanitation department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and supervising and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. This job follows standard practices and procedures and is expected to accomplish work assignments with a limited amount of supervision.
