The Lead Program Integrator (LPI) is a highly visible missioncritical leadership role within the Magnetic Resonance (MR)s Program Management and Integration office (PMO). This position is aligned to one of MR and Imagings most strategic and highimpact programs within our Path to Leadership initiative placing the LPI at the center of technology business and executional excellence.The LPI owns endtoend leadership of the New Product Introduction (NPI) development process driving daytoday execution while establishing the planning rigor governance and controls required to successfully deliver complex programs. This role is accountable for defining and executing product cost and quality targets that ensure delivery of the full business case. Leading a highly crossfunctional team the LPI integrates engineering manufacturing quality regulatory supply chain and service to deliver products that meet performance safety reliability and compliance requirementswhile ensuring manufacturability and serviceability at launch. The LPI is the integrator decisionmaker and execution leader who turns strategy into results.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead resource and material planning to ensure disciplined ontime execution of program commitments.
- Own delivery of program milestones including driving closure of milestone deliverables and associated action items.
- Lead design transfer activities to ensure a seamless transition from development into manufacturing and downstream functions.
- Drive program reliability outcomes in close partnership with Systems and Reliability Engineering teams.
- Define and plan program EPICs and themes within the Agile framework in collaboration with the Program Manager.
- Partner with system subsystem/platform and service leadership teams to deliver highquality products on schedule within cost targets and with the features required to delight both internal and external customers.
- Execute daytoday program activities within the established execution framework fully integrated into the overall program plan.
- Identify plan and track program integration steps clearly defining ownership scope timing and dependencies.
- Proactively identify assess and manage program risks and issues developing contingency plans and tracking mitigation actions to closure.
- Establish and maintain effective communication mechanisms to enable alignment transparency and execution rigor across program teams and business leadership.
- Establish cost target baselines and track progress across both product (e.g. ICV OVC CCP) and servicerelated cost elements (e.g. I&W IBOW) for new MR system offerings.
- Ensure program cost management activities are aligned and synergistic with broader MR product and service productivity initiatives leveraging common tools and synchronized efforts to maximize business impact.
- Communicate NPI product cost status clearly and consistently to the program core team and business leadership on a weekly cadence.
- Ensure all regulatory deliverables are met by working closely with Regulatory Affairs and crossfunctional stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Science or a related discipline or equivalent experience (defined as a High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 additional years of progressive experience as an engineer or scientist within the relevant field).
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in engineering program or project leadership roles within a manufacturing development or research environment including demonstrated leadership of global and/or virtual teams.
- Proven ability to build strong sustained crossfunctional relationships supported by excellent communication influence and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of and handson experience with the New Product Introduction (NPI/PRDx) lifecycle including management of complex crossfunctional dependencies.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality and compliance including awareness of and adherence to the GE HealthCare Quality Manual Quality Management System Quality Management Policy Quality Goals and all applicable laws and regulations relevant to the role.
- Completion of all required Quality and Compliance training within established timelines.
- Ability to proactively identify communicate and escalate quality or compliance concerns and to take timely corrective action as required.
Desired Characteristics
- Masters degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical or related discipline).
- Working knowledge of Agile development frameworks and their application in complex product development environments.
- Demonstrated experience with NPIrelated ISO and regulatory compliance processes including development and maintenance of Design History Files (DHF).
- Proven ability to think creatively and develop effective solutions when navigating competing technical requirements business priorities and program risks.
- Strong track record of proactively identifying product and program risks driving crossfunctional alignment and leading risk mitigation actions to closure.
- Familiarity with GE HealthCare engineering tools and processes such as MyWorkshop and PPM.
- High attention to detail with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities to achieve timely highquality outcomes.
- Ability to develop innovative concepts and solutions for complex integrated products and systems.
- Project or program leadership experience within manufacturing development or research environments in the healthcare industry.
- Broad exposure to hardware software and systems design with demonstrated technical depth in one or more engineering disciplines (e.g. Electrical Mechanical Software).
- Selfmotivated resultsoriented and energetic with the ability to effectively multitask in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent teamwork coordination and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and organizational boundaries.
- Experience leading or contributing to global multisite development programs.
- Graduate of GE HealthCares Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP).
