Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts Every Other Weekend Required
Job Description
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in a high-acuity hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have strong respiratory care and critical care experience with the ability to manage diverse patient populations in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform respiratory assessments and therapeutic treatments
- Administer oxygen therapy breathing treatments and ventilator support
- Monitor and evaluate patient respiratory status
- Respond to respiratory emergencies and critical care situations
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and respiratory treatment records
- Support both adult and pediatric patient care needs as required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Current AHA ACLS certification required
- Current AHA PALS certification required
- Active RRT certification through NBRC required
- Strong critical care and ventilator management skills
- Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced environment
