Job Summary

The Manager serves as a technology leader with strategic responsibility for leading a team and managing a roadmap to ensure the organization meets its goals with a strong emphasis on nuclear data analytics operational reporting automation and applied AI capabilities. The Manager helps ensure technology processes are consistent enabled measured and improved to drive quality in Technology Services. This role provides leadership for the delivery of trusted nuclear data standard and advanced reporting analytics solutions and intelligent automation that support plant operations business objectives and regulatory expectations. The Manager is also responsible for hiring training and leading a mid-size team of employees and contractors as needed that understand and demonstrate the culture and values of Technology Services.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the process of designing developing deployingand maintaining tools and processes to support operations for Technology.
  • Lead team to document and educate users about relevant processes.
  • Ensure alignment between processes and toolsets modifying systems where needed to deliver desired results.
  • Measure and improve process and tool maturity and compliance.
  • Oversee execution of operational activities and measure process quality and compliance (incident handling process execution etc.)
  • Establish roadmap to maintain currency incorporate new features and delivery TS objectives through technology solutions.
  • Partner with other teams to identify dependencies and align roadmaps.
Education Experience & Skill Requirements
  • Experience gained through college degree programs orcertifications in Information SystemsBusiness orComputerScience
  • 10 years of working in an IT environment
  • 3-5 years of technology team management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and teaming skills.
  • Ability to navigate technology environment and work effectively with multiple teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to be trustworthy and dependable.
  • Ability to learn quickly be self motivated to improve knowledge and tackle new challenges.
  • Ability to prioritize requests to deliver highest-impacting items first.
  • Articulate business value of solutions within their scope.

  • Team member engagement across technology department
  • Tools adoption and usage where appropriate
  • Implement improvements that result in reduced operating or capital expense.
  • Implement automation that results in increased operational efficiency and decreased operational cost.

  • Team member engagement across technology department focusing on nuclear data and collaboration with enterprise groups
  • Adoption usage and business impact of nuclear data analytics and reporting solutions including dashboards metrics performance indicators and decisionsupport tools
  • Implement improvements that result in reduced operating or capital expense driven by analytics and automation
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of nuclear industry standards performance indicators and best practices within technology and analytics solutions
  • Implement automation that results in increased operational efficiency and decreased operational cost across both technology and nuclear departments
