Job Summary

Our client is a Periodontal Office atLeslie/Sheppard is looking for and a Certified Dental Assistant with experience for a busy practice.

POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must have CDA and have NDAEB certificate
Must have minimum of 2yearof experience
Good command of the english language both verbally and in writing
Good multi-tasker

LOCATION:Leslie/Sheppard (Free Parking)

HOURS: Monday to Thurs8-5 or 9-6/7 & Fri 8-2

COMPENSATION:

$30-$34.00 To be determineddepending on experience and performance

JOB OVERVIEW:

Assisting dentist during dental procedures that features handing instruments and other materials
Assisting dentist with Perio procedures gum grafting crown lengthening bone grafting implants etc
Sterilizing instruments
Taking x-rays of patients teethand exposing dental diagnostic x-rays
Using suction and swabs to keeppatients mouths clear and dry during procedures
Taking preliminary impressions of teeth for study models
Questioning patients about their medical history and recording theinformation for dentists reference
Advising patients on dental care oralhygiene and plaque control programs
Making patients of all ages feel comfortable beforeduring and after dental treatment
