Service Manager/Shop ForemanGarrison ND
Northern Plains Equipment an employee-owned and certified Case IH dealer in Garrison ND is seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Service Manager / Shop Foreman.
This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service department ensuring repair orders are processed efficiently and effectively coordinating the scheduling of service work and contributing to the development of marketing strategies in collaboration with other departments. The Service Manager/Shop Foreman will also develop monitor and achieve departmental business objectives aligned with dealership policies regulations and performance expectations. This position requires flexibility to work extended hours during peak seasonal periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to established repair order processes
- Schedule and coordinate service work for maximum efficiency
- Keep customers informed with timely updates on repair status
- Foster strong communication between service staff and customers
- Strengthen employee performance through training coaching and development
- Effectively manage and support service team members
- Contribute to marketing plans in coordination with other departments
- Monitor and achieve departmental goals and performance metrics
Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues
- Agriculture and/or equipment experience preferred
- Computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds unaided and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working around equipment fluids and varying environmental smells
- Safety-minded and compliant with all workplace safety regulations
