The Manager Tax M&A and Transactions role is based in New York (remote). Be part of a collaborative analytical and resultsoriented team where together we can achieve greatness and make a real impact.

Where Youll Make a Difference

  • Lead and support tax due diligence and integration efforts for mergers acquisitions and divestitures including detailed stepplan management and coordination with internal teams and external advisors.
  • Own the quarterly and annual corporate income tax provision related to M&A activity including discontinued operations heldforsale entities uncertain tax positions and effective tax rate analysis in compliance with ASC 740.
  • Analyze and communicate the tax impacts of M&A transactions on reported and forecasted effective tax rates isolating transactiondriven impacts.
  • Partner with the Global Accounting team to incorporate tax accounting implications of transactions using OneSource Tax Provision ensuring compliance with US GAAP and applicable local regulations.
  • Support the standup of tax functions for separated or newly acquired entities including tax provision processes SOX 404 controls ERP tax configuration and indirect tax compliance frameworks.
  • Review consolidated and subsidiary income tax returns and workpapers prepared by external advisors including returntoprovision analyses and tax basis balance sheet validations.
  • Monitor changes in US GAAP SEC guidance and tax legislation ensuring timely adoption into tax provision reporting and planning processes.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders external advisors and financial statement auditors serving as a key technical resource on M&A tax matters.

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Tax or a related field; Masters in Taxation or Accounting is a plus.
  • 7 years of progressive tax experience including tax accounting and M&A with a combination of Big 4 and inhouse experience at a USbased multinational public company.
  • Strong expertise in ASC 740 tax accounting for US GAAP reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting acquisitions divestitures and other complex transactions from a tax accounting perspective.
  • Proficiency with tax accounting systems and ERP platforms including OneSource Tax Provision.
  • Proven ability to lead coach and develop highperforming teams while managing multiple priorities and tight timelines.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and a handson solutionoriented mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across Finance and the broader organization.

How Would You Stand Out

  • CPA certification.
  • Experience supporting spinoffs carveouts or largescale global restructurings.
  • Demonstrated success driving process improvements and automation in tax provision or reporting.
