Job Summary
Concord is looking for an experienced Senior Software Tester with strong expertise in web automation using Cypress. The ideal candidate will have 6 years of experience in software testing with a focus on building robust automation frameworks ensuring high-quality releases and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress for web applications
- Build and enhance automation frameworks for scalability and performance
- Collaborate with developers product managers and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
- Execute automated and manual test cases analyze results and report defects
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
- Perform regression smoke and functional testing
- Ensure test coverage traceability and quality metrics are maintained
- Mentor junior testers and contribute to QA best practices
- 7 years of experience in software testing (manual automation)
- Strong hands-on experience with Cypress for web automation
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with test frameworks and tools (Mocha Chai etc.)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitHub Actions or similar)
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Strong understanding of SDLC STLC and Agile methodologies
- Experience in API testing is a plus (Postman Rest Assured etc.)
- Good analytical debugging and problem-solving skills
- Experience with performance or security testing
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP)
- Knowledge of Docker or containerization tools
