Details:

Were looking for a hands-on Transformer Service Technician to support our field service team in preparing equipment setting up job sites and helping execute work in the field. This role plays a key part in keeping projects running smoothly-from logistics and materials to quality and overall job execution.

Youll work closely with experienced field service professionals and gain exposure to all aspects of transformer service work with plenty of opportunities to grow your skills along the way.

What Youll Do

  • Work side-by-side with the Field Service team to support transformer maintenance testing and repair activities
  • Help prepare tools equipment and job sites before and during projects
  • Assist with field work across multiple disciplines (mechanical electrical and general labor support)
  • Support job execution by helping manage materials logistics and workflow
  • Ensure work is completed safely efficiently and with a focus on quality
  • Follow direction from the Onsite Field Service Supervisor and contribute to a strong team environment

Day-to-Day Support

  • Complete timesheets expense reports and basic job documentation
  • Help track job details customer information and key performance metrics
  • Participate in training and development to build your skills in transformer service work

What Were Looking For

Education

  • High school diploma GED or equivalent

Experience (helpful but not required)

  • Background in transformer field service or the electrical/utility industry
  • Experience with transformer testing
  • Experience towing or hauling trailers
  • Commercial Drivers License (CDL Class A) is a plus

Skills & Traits

  • Hands-on self-starter mindset-youre not afraid to jump in and get the job done
  • Motivated and able to work independently when needed
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to learn from others
  • Comfortable working in outdoor and changing field conditions
  • Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office tools

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to travel frequently (up to 85%)
  • Ability to work in a variety of environments and conditions at job sites
