Job Purpose |
To manage the organizations treasury working capital banking and financial risk functions ensuring optimal liquidity cost efficiency and compliance while supporting the dynamic requirements of the copper business. To lead the regional commercial function with a strong focus on customer centricity ensuring superior customer experience optimized commercial terms and sustainable business growth through effective coordination between sales accounts and ensure end-to-end compliance with GST and all applicable statutory regulations across the zone by establishing robust commercial processes minimizing tax risks and enabling seamless business operations through accurate documentation timely filings and effective cross-functional coordination. The role is responsible for safeguarding the organization from financial legal and reputational risks arising out of non-compliance while supporting business growth through compliant and efficient commercial practices. |

Cash Flow: - Treasury & Liquidity Management
- Monitor and manage daily cash flow and liquidity position
- Prepare rolling cash flow forecasts (short-term & long-term)
- Ensure timely availability of funds for imports creditors and operations
- All BG and LC with Exposure are Live and intact.
| Working Capital Management - Optimize working capital cycle (Inventory & Receivables
- Monitor utilization of fund-based and non-fund-based limits
- Coordinate with internal teams for efficient fund deployment
- Liaise with banks for sanction renewal and enhancement of limits
- Negotiate interest rates charges and banking terms
- Optimize borrowing mix to reduce finance cost
- Evaluate cost-benefit of various financing options (LC vs BG vs CF limits)
- MIS & Reporting.

Customer Centricity: - Customer Relationship & Experience Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers (B2B focus)
- Ensure seamless customer onboarding order execution and after-sales support
- Act as escalation point for critical customer issues
- Drive customer satisfaction retention and long-term engagement.
| Commercial Strategy & Execution - Define and implement location-wise commercial strategies aligned with business goals.
- Structure pricing credit terms and commercial policies
- Ensure profitability while maintaining competitive positioning
- Monitor contribution margins customer-wise / product-wise
- Dispatch coordination
- Payment collection
- Set customer credit limits in coordination with Sales team.
- Educate customers effect of Price fluctuations.
- Timely refund of Credit Balances.
- Account reconciliation and resolution of Reco. Disputes.
- Customer-Centric Process Improvement
- Drive automation and system enhancements (ERP / CRM)
- Standardize commercial processes across zone.

Managing Financial Accounts with period closing activities: - 1. Monitoring for Application of Debit and Credit notes with invoices.
- 2. Arrange to issue interest debit notes to Customers.
- 3. Arrange Booking of return material in books.
- 4. Monitoring of overdue.
- Managing petty cash transactions.
| Financial Closing - Review of Debit/ Credit notes reports to keep check on issuance.
- Review of Overdue report and arrange a meeting with respective marketing team for arranging the collection against overdue amount.
- Coordination with Dahej team for issuance of credit note against returned material after checking of all the documents after due coordination with customer.
- To get the realization of overdue amount through close coordination with Marketing team.
- Expense statement against petty cash is sent for approval.
- Provisioning Sales Liability.
- Provisioning of BDD.
- Compliances of Margin Money deposit.
- Classification of Contractual Liability.
- Timely submission of BRC.

Statutory Compliances: - Ensure accurate application of GST laws in all commercial transactions including sales stock transfers job work.
- Drive timely and error-free statutory compliance including GST returns e-invoicing and e-way bills
- Minimize tax exposure penalties and litigation risks through proactive controls and reviews
- Act as a bridge between commercial finance tax and operations teams for compliance alignment
- Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness for internal statutory and GST audits.
| - 1 To Verify the Data prepared by respective team member with reconciliation before filing of GST Returns.
- 2 Study of all states policies and rules are read out in time for updating the changes at any point of time.
- 3 To assign the team member for timely filing of GST Returns through GST Portal.
- 4 Approving all the compliances in GST Portal.
- 5 To review the pending sales tax cases and arrange their timely assessment.
- Support business teams in structuring transactions in a tax-efficient and compliant manner
- 7 GST Set Off and returns for respective state of zone.
- 8 State policies and rules required to run Depots.
- 9 Adherence of various accounting norms guided by CFD & auditors.
- 10 To complete Compliance in Compliances portal of GST.
