Laborer

The Construction Laborer / Apprentice supports skilled tradespeople and equipment operators in the completion of construction and excavation projects. This entry-level role is designed for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience develop trade skills and grow within the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general labor tasks including digging lifting carrying and material handling.
• Assist with site preparation grading trenching and cleanup.
• Support carpenters equipment operators and other skilled trades as needed.
• Safely use and maintain hand tools and basic power tools.
• Follow direction from supervisors and crew leads to complete assigned tasks.
• Maintain a clean organized and safe job site.
• Participate in learning opportunities to develop trade-specific skills.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements:

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team setting.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen upon offer of employment.
