The Role

As Vet Director - ECC youll be the clinical cornerstone of our emergency service. Working alongside your team youll lead by example - setting the benchmark in patient care while actively guiding clinicians through every stage of their growth.

Your impact will be seen in how you:

• Navigate complex ECC cases with clarity composure and empathy
• Coach and support veterinarians through case discussions feedback and in-the-moment teaching
• Foster a culture where psychological safety and high performance go hand in hand
• Develop and refine clinical protocols that reflect best practice
• Help shape the hospitals clinical direction in partnership with senior leadership

Youll work closely with leadership on strategy and growth while keeping your focus where it belongs: on people patients and outcomes.

• IDEXX in-house laboratory suites
• Phillips ultrasound and Siemens MRI/CT
• A dedicated ICU and three fully equipped surgical theatres

About You

Youre an ECC veterinarian who:

• Holds a veterinary degree eligible for registration in New South Wales
• Has 5 years experience in a 24/7 emergency or specialty setting
• Is clinically assured and trusted by colleagues
• Gains real satisfaction from teaching mentoring and supporting others
• Leads with self-awareness consistency and clear communication
• Is ready to step into senior clinical leadership without stepping away from clinical work
