Electrician Helper

We provide critical marine support services to the U.S. Navy managing and maintaining the Inactive Ship fleet across multiple locations including Pearl Harbor.

We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Electrician Helper to support our Maintenance team in Pearl Harbor.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Assist Electricians with the installation maintenance and repair of electrical systems supporting inactive naval vessels including shore power connections.
• Support installation of fire and flood alarm systems dehumidification systems and cathodic protection systems.
• Handle and stage tools materials and equipment required for electrical work.
• Follow all safety procedures and electrical hazard precautions including working around energized equipment.
• Assist with vessel arrival mooring and departure operations as needed.
• Work with electricians and other trades to support safe and efficient maintenance operations.
• Perform physically demanding work including lifting climbing and working in confined or elevated spaces.
• Support use of basic electrical testing equipment and maintain tools.
• Adhere to all company policies procedures and core values.
• Work overtime or travel (up to 25%) as required to support operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of site operations.

What Youll Need to Succeed:

Minimum:

• One (1) year of relevant electrical experience in a shipyard industrial or similar environment or experience gained through military service.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and safety practices including working around energized equipment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting up to 60 pounds and working at heights or in confined spaces.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow direction from supervisors.
• Strong attention to safety reliability and work ethic.

Preferred:

• Experience supporting marine or shipboard electrical work.
• Completion of vocational or technical electrical training.
• Two (2) years of shipyard or industrial electrical experience.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to pass an extensive background check.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods (up to 75%) in varying conditions.
• Ability to safely operate power tools and basic electrical testing equipment.
