YOUR NEW ROLE

Reporting to the Senior Manager Strategic Communications this role is responsible for day-to-day management of internal communications and channels working collaboratively with teams across the organisation to develop and deliver timely and relevant content and events to drive staff engagement support organisational needs and build positive culture in line with our ambition to be Everyones House.

ARE YOU THE ONE

Key Responsibilities/skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field with minimum 5 years experience in internal communications.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills able to tailor messages influence stakeholders and respond constructively to feedback.
  • Dynamic efficient communicator who builds strong relationships and collaborates effectively across teams and partners.
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and manage multiple projects campaigns or events end-to-end.
  • Strong operational and commercial decision-making skills including workflow optimisation budgets procurement suppliers and governance.
  • Deep understanding of creative and production processes with hands-on experience using project and digital management tools (e.g. Dropbox Frontify).
  • Highly organised detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in fast-paced high-volume environments and delivers with accuracy.
  • Strong alignment with Sydney Opera House values with a clear understanding of the organisations role in the performing arts and broader cultural landscape.
