Registered Nurse-Gynecology

Rome Health is seeking a compassionate skilled full-time Registered Nurse to join our Gynecology team. The GYN RN provides high-quality patient-centered care to women across a broad range of gynecological needs. Working collaboratively with physicians and advanced practice providers the GYN RN plays a key role in clinical care patient education and care coordination within a supportive mission-driven environment.

Additional duties of the GYN Office Nurse:

• Assist with routine GYN Office procedures
• Take patient histories and vital signs
• Handle phone triage (answering patient concerns)
• Administer injections (e.g. vaccines hormone shots)
• Help with lab work and follow-ups

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BLS required within 3 months of hire; BS in Nursing preferred

Education: NYS RN License

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand walk use hands reach with hands and arms and talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to use finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision depth perception ability to adjust focus and ability to see color.
