Position Summary:

The Senior Tax Manager will be an integral part of the corporate tax team managing global income tax compliance and reporting domestic income tax planning process improvements and various initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead quarterly and annual global income tax provision calculations forecast and disclosures including communication with internal teams and external auditors
  • Lead global income tax compliance and documentation of tax positions including Pillar II reporting
  • Monitor tax legislative and regulatory developments and evaluate impact to the company
  • Manage federal and state income tax planning initiatives
  • Lead process improvement initiatives
  • Manage federal and state income tax audits
  • Analyze tax implications from business initiatives including mergers and acquisitions
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of ASC 740 income tax laws and the ability to research tax issues
  • Experience working with tax software financial reporting tools and data analytic tools
  • Strong communication organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and embrace change

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in accounting/taxation or equivalent preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant
  • Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
  • 8 years of related experience in tax

The annual base pay for this position is: $144000.00 - $216000.00

F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience geographic locations and market conditions as well as to reflect F5s differing products industries and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
