As an auditor at EY you will play a pivotal role in providing independent verification of our clients adherence to accounting principles. We are expanding our Audit teams across the UK with exciting vacancies in: Birmingham Cambridge Edinburgh Luton Manchester Newcastle Reading and Southampton.

Your Key Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be delivering exceptional audit services to our clients. Heres how youll make an impact:

• Lead fieldwork and keep engagement managers informed on audit progress.
• Provide accurate reporting on financial statements offering valuable insights into accounting and reporting matters.
• Execute audit processes and document higher-risk areas to enhance your technical and business acumen.
• Engage with clients delivering authoritative advice and professionalism throughout transactions.
• Continuously develop your understanding of current market trends to stay ahead.

To Qualify for the Role You Must Have:

• Proven experience in delivering and reporting on external audits.
• Experience in UK Government & UK Public Sector.
• Full qualification as a chartered accountant (e.g. ACA ACCA CA ICAS ICAEW) or an international equivalent.
• Exposure to non-financial services industries.

Ideally Youll Also Have:

• Knowledge of current market issues in the UK.
• Familiarity with SOX 404 and application of UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Project management or team supervisory experience.
• The flexibility to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
